Artist Statement
The woodcutters are caught in a blizzard. In an old hut they fall asleep and the cold brings on a dreamlike state. The ghost of a woman drifts in on a cloud of snowflakes. Her face is white except for her jet-black eyes. Her long black hair floats like waves around her face as she enters the young man’s dream.

木こりたちは吹雪に巻き込まれた。古い小屋で眠りについた彼らは、寒さで夢うつつになる。雪雲に乗ってひとりの女の幽霊が流れ込んでくる。女は、漆黒の瞳を除けば、真っ白な顔をしている。長い黒髪が波打つように顔になびき、女は若い木こりの夢のなかへと入っていく。
