Artist Statement
‘Yuki-onna’ is a very captivating tale. The sadness of Yuki, who fell in love with a human man, resonates in my heart with the sound of a snowstorm. The sound of Yuki that I heard from the text was so impressive that I wanted to convey it in my print as well.

なんとも惹きつけられる一話「雪女」。人に恋したYukiの切なさが吹雪の音と共に胸に響く。文章から聞こえてくるYukiの音が印象的で、版画にもその音を摺り写したいと願いながら作った。
