Artist Statement
I am intrigued by how Akinosuke’s dream in one world can become real in another. As the spirit of the man is represented by a butterfly in the story, I represent the butterfly with a paper copy in my image.

現世での安芸之介の夢が、別の世界では現実のものとなることに興味をそそられた。物語のなかで男の魂が蝶で表現されているように、私の作品では蝶を紙で表現している。
