Dominic Turner is a photographic artist and master photographic printer based in Dublin, Ireland specialising in a mix of 19th century and 21st century printing techniques. In 2008, he set up a specialist archival digital print studio called Exhibit A. He has been a practicing artist for nearly 20 years with his first formal solo exhibition at the Mermaid Arts Centre Gallery, Bray, Co. Wicklow in 2007. Since then he had been a frequent exhibitor in Ireland and abroad. In 2017, he was shortlisted for the Renaissance Photography Prize in the UK and exhibited the Getty Gallery in London. In 2018, he won first prize at the InCadaques Photography Festival Open Call resulting in a solo show during the festival in Cadaqués, Spain and in 2022 he exhibited in the Royal Academy Summer Show in London. He is currently working on finishing a body of work for a large solo show curated by diChroma Photography, Madrid, Spain and has two photobooks in the design and production phase. With photographer Amelia Stein and designer Steve Averill he co-founded Blink Editions, a small photobook publishing company who have produced 3 limited edition hand made books to date.
