Born in Fukushima Prefecture in 1966. Lives and works in Tokyo.
While working as an art director, he continues to create works using photography, and has exhibited in Japan, the United States, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and other countries. Major awards include International photography award 2013, 1st place, HARIBAN AWARD 2019, Juror’s Choice Awards, STEIDL BOOK AWARD JAPAN, Winner. In 2022, he will publish a photo book Somewhere not Here from the (M) edition in France, and a photo book Thereafter on the theme of Fukushima, where he was born and raised in Germany STEIDL. Exhibitions in Japan and overseas are planned in the future.

アートディレクターとして働きながら、写真を使った作品制作を続け、日本、アメリカ、フランス、ベルギー、オランダなどで展示を行っている。主な受賞歴として、International photography award 2013, 1st place、HARIBAN AWARD 2019, Juror’s Choice Awards、STEIDL BOOK AWARD JAPAN, Winner などがある。2022年フランスのthe (M) editionから写真集Somewhere not Hereを刊行、ドイツSTEIDLから生まれ育った福島をテーマにした写真集Thereafterを出版予定。今後も日本や海外での展示が予定されている。
